Remember to… Lead with empathy and ownership. Instead of focusing on what’s going wrong, ask your employee to walk you through their experience: “What’s been harder than expected?” Collaborate to find solutions together rather than pointing out their mistakes. Set clear expectations while maintaining respect for their efforts and challenges.
