Did you know… "Teams that have open and honest communication are 2.5 times more likely to be high-performing," according to a study by Gallup.

Handling conflict openly and with respect can actually increase team engagement and performance, making difficult situations opportunities for growth.

The Tip

Remember to… Normalize conflict as part of team dynamics. Instead of avoiding tension, address it head-on. Ask questions like, "What’s going on here?" to open up a conversation. Show your team it’s okay to disagree and still work towards common goals. Encourage collaboration over confrontation, and frame the conflict as an opportunity to grow stronger together.
