Remember to…
- Revisit the conversation: Open a dialogue days after the tough talk. Ask, “How are you feeling about the last discussion?”
- Track action, not words: Set measurable milestones and dates to confirm progress.
- Give recognition for growth: Acknowledge even small wins. “Your approach with the client today is exactly what we discussed—well done.”
