Did you know... Being the youngest in the room can feel like a disadvantage—but it doesn’t have to be. Leadership isn’t about age; it’s about showing up with clarity, care, and consistency. Teams follow those who lead with purpose, not titles or seniority.

The Tip
Remember to…

Set the tone: Lead with confidence, not ego. Be yourself, anchored in purpose. Say: “I may be new to this role, but I take responsibility seriously. I won’t always get it right, but I will lead with transparency and respect.”

Clarity over charisma: People follow clarity, not age. Set expectations, communicate standards, and stay consistent. Align on priorities, roadblocks, and 90-day goals.

Invite experience: Treat experience as an asset. Ask for wisdom, listen, and implement it. Reverse mentorship builds respect and turns resistance into support.
